The Emm Kuo brand combines two collections that show the versatility of every woman’s accessory collection, a mix between sophisticated and
fun. The brand is known for its innovative use of materials and exploration of texture and color. The evening collection is guided by an
appreciation for the finest materials and an unyielding commitment to impeccable workmanship.Combining architectural influences, bold
textural contrasts, and clean lines to create a collection that's both modern and timeless. The seasonal collections focus more on pieces that are
colorful, fun and softer in texture. Often in electric colors or metallics and featuring details such as Swarovski mesh, feathers and beading.
Emm Kuo is an AAPI, female founded and led brand.
HAND MADE WITH LOVE
Seeing the importance of community living through travels,
it was important for our brand to work with suppliers that could
produce ethically made products and work with artisans to help grow
their local communities and pass down traditions.
The evening collection is made within two different factories in
the Philippines. The first factory is a third generation, family own
green studio.Practicing sustainability through water conservation and using the entirety of a product including the bi-products.
An example of this is using the oyster shell not just pearl, breaking it
down and creating the material for the clutches. Alongside natural dyes
for pigment, and created entirely by hand, each clutch takes approximately 40 hours to be made.
SPRING/ SUMMER 2024
The second factory has been in business for thirty years, founded by a mother and daughter team who work with raffia and natural materials such as banana seda. Wanting to work with more natural materials, Emmaline started working with this factory for our new Spring/Summer 2024 collection.
